“January” Self titled EP

January wrote this EP at her lake cabin in California. She was touring at the time with anglo-swiss producer Laurent Clerc AKA Little People and they decided to collaborate. His production stems from hip hop and effortlessly combines warm synths, intricate melodies and string arrangements. Like an ocean of odd yet unquestionably beautiful sound. January revisited the first song she had ever written for this album, Faithful Feathers reviving it with Laurents production and a remix by Matt Robertson becoming a full circle for her. January released this EP on her label January Music in 2015.
